I’m an 18-year-old artist based in the UK, working primarily in graphite, charcoal and coloring pencils; oil, and acrylic paint. I started drawing when I was thirteen and over time it grew into something much larger than just a hobby: a space where realism and my imagination could meet.
My work often begins with something ordinary, from my imagination or a reference image, and then drifts into something slightly unreal. I’m fascinated by the tension between beauty and discomfort. I want each piece to feel intimate but unsettling, like a memory you can’t quite place.
I draw inspiration from human connection, isolation, and the way light touches skin or fabric. Realism has always been my foundation, but I’m drawn to more obscure scenes.
As I continue to study and grow as an artist, I’m interested in how traditional techniques can be used to express modern emotions. Each drawing or painting is both an observation and an interpretation.
